Wildfire Fire Fighting Equipment

When a fire occurs you must act fast. Always contacting the emergency services in the first instance is of the utmost importance. If you do however, come across a small outdoor (wildfire) fire and feel that you can combat it, this range of wildfire equipment is a huge help. Of course, never go near a fire if you feel it would put yourself or anyone else in danger but, if it is small enough to tackle, an outdoor fire can be fought off using this range of fire safety equipment.

Designed as an addition to the Firechief Fire Beater, this wildfire range is specifically designed to help combat fires in outdoor areas. In 2019 in the UK, a record number of wildfires occurred. Caused due to hot and dry weather, barbecues and arson, when wildfires occur they can spread quickly.

In the Firechief Wildfire range is a collection that can help if you come across a number of scenarios. A short Firefighter’s Axe with voltage that can withstand 1000 volts, it is great if you need to knock down any hard to get through materials or passage ways such as doors and windows. The long Fireman’s Axe has a versatile and heavy-duty handle which is designed to dig soil chop wood.

Also in the collection is a Forestry Rake, with four steel teeth which are individually bolted for easily removal and sharpening, the 3mm blades can be used to cut through roots and bush when outside. With safety always in mind, the steel head can be completely removed for safer storage and carrying. As well as this is the Forestry Rakehoe, a two sided blade with teeth to cut branches and turf which also collapses for easy transport.
