Its dual-layer construction balances underfoot comfort with long-term wear resistance, while the checker plate (diamond pattern) surface provides a tough, industrial look and everyday resilience.

Deckplate uses a vinyl top surface fused to a PVC foam backing (fusion bonded, not glued) to help maintain integrity over time. Bevelled edges reduce trip hazards, and a high-visibility safety option is available with bright yellow borders to help define standing zones and improve awareness in busy areas.

It is designed for dry indoor environments, is simple to install as a loose-lay mat, and can be maintained easily by brushing or mopping the surface. The mat is fire tested to BS EN 13501-1 Class Cfl-s1 and comes with a 3-year guarantee when used in a dry environment.
