Description

The ViVest PowerBeat X3 Semi-Automatic Defibrillator combines a lightweight, compact design with a 5-inch colour LCD screen providing animated step-by-step instructions throughout a cardiac arrest emergency.

Clear visual guidance and voice prompts support the rescuer through defibrillation and CPR. The X3 automatically analyses the patient’s heart rhythm and, when a shock is advised, instructs the rescuer to press the shock button.

The same universal electrode pads can be used for adults and children, with a dedicated paediatric button changing the AED to child mode. At only 1.5 kg, the PowerBeat X3 provides enhanced visual guidance while remaining highly portable.

5-Inch Colour Screen with Animated Guidance

A key feature of the PowerBeat X3 is its 5-inch colour LCD screen, which displays animated step-by-step instructions throughout the rescue.

The visual instructions work alongside audible voice prompts, helping the rescuer understand the actions required during pad placement, rhythm analysis, shock delivery and CPR.

This additional visual guidance can be particularly valuable for people with limited experience of using an AED.

Semi-Automatic Operation and CPR Guidance

The PowerBeat X3 automatically analyses the patient’s heart rhythm and determines whether defibrillation is required.

If a shock is advised, the AED instructs the rescuer to press the shock button to deliver it.

During CPR, the X3 provides additional guidance including an integrated metronome to help the rescuer maintain the required chest-compression rhythm.

Adult and Paediatric Use

The PowerBeat X3 uses universal electrode pads for both adults and children, removing the need to maintain separate paediatric pads.

A dedicated paediatric button changes the AED to child mode when treating a paediatric patient.

This makes the X3 particularly practical for locations such as schools, leisure facilities and public-access environments where the AED may need to be used on either an adult or child.

Lightweight and Robust Design

Despite incorporating a large colour screen, the PowerBeat X3 weighs approximately 1.5 kg including its battery and measures just 23.2 x 20.9 x 5.9 cm.

It has an IP55 protection rating and has been tested to withstand a 1.5 metre drop onto a hard surface, combining portability with protection for everyday public-access and workplace use.

Battery Life and AED Readiness

The PowerBeat X3 battery provides a 5-year standby life once installed and capacity for approximately 200 shocks at 150 J under the manufacturer's stated conditions.

The AED also carries out an automatic daily self-test, helping identify problems and ensure the device remains ready for emergency use.

Where Can the ViVest PowerBeat X3 Be Used?

The combination of animated visual instructions, voice guidance, adult and child capability and lightweight construction makes the PowerBeat X3 suitable for:

  • Schools and colleges
  • Offices and workplaces
  • Sports clubs and leisure facilities
  • Hotels and hospitality venues
  • Retail environments
  • Community locations
  • Manufacturing and industrial workplaces
  • Public buildings
  • Public-access AED locations.

The colour animated display is a particularly useful feature for locations where the AED may need to be operated by someone with limited previous experience.
