Description

The ViVest PowerBeat X1 Semi-Automatic Defibrillator is a slimline, lightweight AED designed for straightforward public-access use and easy portability. Weighing just 1.5 kg and measuring only 5.9 cm deep, it can be easily transported between locations or carried quickly to an emergency.

Clear pictograms, LED indicators and audible voice prompts guide the rescuer through each stage. The PowerBeat X1 automatically analyses the patient's heart rhythm and, when a shock is advised, instructs the rescuer to press the shock button.

The same universal electrode pads can be used for adults and children, with a dedicated paediatric button reducing the shock energy from 150 J to 50 J. The X1 also provides CPR guidance with a metronome and hand-placement instructions.

Slimline and Lightweight AED

At 23.2 × 20.9 × 5.9 cm and just 1.5 kg, the PowerBeat X1 is particularly compact for a public-access AED.

Its slim profile makes it easy to carry to an emergency and suitable for organisations where portability is an important consideration.

Semi-Automatic Operation

The PowerBeat X1 automatically analyses the patient's heart rhythm to determine whether defibrillation is required.

If a shockable rhythm is detected, the AED charges and instructs the rescuer to press the shock button to deliver the shock.

The X1 uses a Biphasic Truncated Exponential waveform, delivering 150 J in adult mode.

Adult and Paediatric Use

The PowerBeat X1 uses universal Smart Pads suitable for both adults and children, avoiding the need to maintain a separate set of paediatric electrode pads.

When treating a child, the dedicated paediatric button switches the AED into child mode and reduces the shock energy from 150 J to 50 J.

This makes the PowerBeat X1 particularly practical for locations where both adults and children may be present.

Clear Rescue and CPR Guidance

The PowerBeat X1 combines visual pictograms, LED indicators and audible voice prompts to guide the rescuer through the emergency.

CPR coaching includes a metronome to help maintain the required compression rhythm and instructions showing correct hand placement.

Daily Self-Testing

The PowerBeat X1 performs an automatic daily self-test to monitor the condition of the AED and help ensure it remains ready for use.

Regular automatic testing reduces the amount of manual checking required, although routine visual AED inspections should still form part of an organisation's AED management process.

IP55 Protection and Robust Design

The PowerBeat X1 has an IP55 ingress protection rating, providing protection against dust and water jets.

The AED is also designed to withstand a 1.5 metre drop onto a hard surface, providing additional protection for devices used in busy workplace and public-access environments.

Long-Life Battery and Electrode Pads

The PowerBeat X1 uses a non-rechargeable lithium manganese dioxide battery with a standby life of up to five years and capacity for up to 200 shocks, subject to operating and storage conditions.

The universal Smart Pads also have a life of up to five years from manufacture.

Always check the expiry dates supplied with the actual battery and electrode pads and replace pads following use.

Connectivity and Event Data

The PowerBeat X1 can record up to eight hours of ECG and event information for post-incident review.

USB and Bluetooth connectivity are supported, and compatible fleet-management options can provide device-status information and location/movement monitoring where this functionality is configured.

Where Can the ViVest PowerBeat X1 Be Used?

The combination of compact dimensions, low weight, adult and child capability and IP55 protection makes the PowerBeat X1 suitable for locations including:

  • Schools and colleges
  • Offices and workplaces
  • Sports clubs and leisure facilities
  • Community locations
  • Hotels and hospitality venues
  • Retail environments
