The Armorgard Qpod QP1 Lithium-Ion Battery Charging Unit is a compact indoor charging and storage solution designed for lithium-ion batteries with a combined capacity of up to 1.5kWh.

Built from 1.5mm steel with a durable powder-coated finish, the Qpod combines 8 x 13A charging sockets, an RCD-protected inlet plug, integrated ventilation and an alarm system for early warning. Armorgard also describes the unit as having a rigorously tested containment system designed around lithium-ion battery charging risks.

The Qpod provides a purpose-built area for charging lithium-ion batteries rather than relying on general-purpose sockets, workbenches or extension leads.

Its eight internal sockets allow multiple compatible batteries or chargers to be powered from one dedicated unit, while the RCD-protected inlet plug adds electrical protection.
