The ZOLL AED 3 Semi-Automatic Defibrillator combines clear rescue guidance with real-time CPR feedback to help support rescuers during a cardiac arrest emergency.

ZOLL's Real CPR Help® technology measures chest compression rate and depth and provides real-time feedback, while the full-colour touchscreen displays rescue images, text prompts and a CPR cycle timer. RapidShock™ analysis is designed to minimise pauses in CPR when analysing the patient's heart rhythm.

The ZOLL AED 3 can be used on both adults and children using the same CPR Uni-padz® electrodes, with integrated child mode removing the need to change pads.

Real-Time CPR Feedback

The ZOLL AED 3 uses Real CPR Help® technology to measure the rate and depth of chest compressions.

The colour touchscreen provides visual CPR information alongside voice and text prompts, helping the rescuer maintain effective compressions throughout the rescue.

Semi-Automatic Operation

The ZOLL AED 3 automatically analyses the patient's heart rhythm.

If a shockable rhythm is detected, the AED charges and instructs the rescuer to press the shock button to deliver the shock.

This is the key difference from the fully automatic ZOLL AED 3, which delivers an advised shock automatically.

RapidShock™ Analysis

RapidShock™ analysis is designed to reduce the amount of time that CPR is interrupted while the AED analyses the patient's heart rhythm.

Adult and Paediatric Use

The ZOLL AED 3 uses CPR Uni-padz® for both adults and children.

When treating a child, the rescuer activates the integrated child mode rather than changing to separate paediatric pads. 

Five-Year Pads and Battery

The ZOLL AED 3 is designed with long-life consumables, with both the smart battery and CPR Uni-padz® offering up to five years of service life, subject to storage, use and expiry conditions.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Built-in Wi-Fi supports compatible AED management systems for remote readiness monitoring and can also be used to transfer event data following a rescue.
