The Armorgard PowerStor PWR2 is a secure 2-metre-deep walk-in lithium-ion battery charging unit designed for safer on-site charging and storage of power tool batteries.

With 32 RCD-protected charging sockets, automatic fire suppression, ventilation, lighting and alarm systems, the PWR2 provides a dedicated charging area in one secure, easily managed unit. Its larger 2m-deep format offers significantly more internal working and storage space than the PWR1 while retaining the same core charging and fire-safety features.

The PWR2 provides a centralised charging location for multiple lithium-ion tool batteries, helping reduce the need for loose chargers and ad-hoc charging areas across site.

Automatic Fire Suppression

The PowerStor is fitted with a stand-alone automatic fire suppression system designed to activate when heat or smoke is detected.

The unit uses an unpressurised suppression system intended to help contain lithium-ion battery fires within the enclosed charging space. Armorgard states that the system is suitable for Type A, B and C fires as well as lithium fires.

Large 2m-Deep Walk-In Design

The PWR2 is the larger model in the PowerStor range, providing a 2m-deep walk-in charging and storage area.

Its internal dimensions are approximately:
