Zoll AED Simulator CPR-D Demo Padz

The ZOLL CPR-D Demo padz - 8900-5007 are reusable demonstration electrodes designed for use with a clinical ZOLL AED Plus or AED Pro together with a compatible simulator.

They allow instructors and demonstrators to show CPR-D-padz placement and demonstrate ZOLL Real CPR Help functionality without using live rescue electrodes.

The demo pad attaches to a training manikin using Velcro strips and connects between the clinical AED and simulator using the supplied cable assembly.

CPR-D Demo padz are designed for AED demonstrations and training.

They must not be used for patient treatment or defibrillation.

Unlike clinical CPR-D-padz used during a real rescue, the Demo pad is designed for repeated use with a compatible training manikin.

Use with a Clinical AED and Simulator

ZOLL specifies CPR-D Demo padz for use with:

• ZOLL AED Plus clinical unit
• ZOLL AED Pro clinical unit

A compatible AED simulator is required.

This allows the clinical AED to be used to demonstrate its operation and CPR feedback features without delivering actual defibrillation therapy.

Not for the AED Plus Trainer2

The CPR-D Demo padz 8900-5007 are not the training electrodes for the AED Plus Trainer2.

The AED Plus Trainer2 uses separate CPR-D-padz Training Electrodes, part number 8900-0804-01.

Demonstrating CPR-D-padz Placement

The demo pad replicates the one-piece layout of ZOLL CPR-D-padz.

Its central CPR sensor helps demonstrate correct hand placement for chest compressions and allows compatible equipment to demonstrate ZOLL Real CPR Help feedback.
