Zoll AED 3 CPR Uni-padz Universal III

The ZOLL AED 3 CPR Uni-padz Universal III are genuine replacement defibrillator electrodes designed exclusively for use with the ZOLL AED 3.

Unlike separate adult and paediatric pads, CPR Uni-padz can be used for both adults and children, helping simplify AED maintenance and reduce the need to hold two different sets of electrodes.

With a five-year shelf life, they also offer a longer replacement interval than many conventional AED pads.

Adult and Child Use.

The ZOLL CPR Uni-padz are universal electrodes, allowing the same pads to be used for both adult and paediatric patients.

For a child under 8 years old or weighing less than 25 kg, reposition the pads as instructed and activate Child Mode on the ZOLL AED 3.

The AED then adjusts its operation for paediatric treatment.

This means there is no need to keep a separate set of paediatric electrodes with the defibrillator.

Five-Year Shelf Life

CPR Uni-padz have a five-year shelf life, helping reduce the frequency and cost of routine electrode replacement.

The expiry date should still be checked regularly as part of your AED inspection routine, and pads must be replaced after use or once they reach their expiry date.

Real CPR Help Feedback

The CPR Uni-padz incorporate a CPR landmark that helps guide hand placement during chest compressions.

When used with the ZOLL AED 3, the electrodes allow the defibrillator to provide real-time CPR feedback on compression rate and depth.

The AED can provide prompts such as “Push harder” and displays CPR compression depth on its colour screen to help the rescuer deliver more effective CPR.

CPR depth feedback is not provided in paediatric mode.
