Mediana A16 Battery Pack

The Mediana HeartOn A16 Battery Pack - is the replacement battery for the Mediana HeartOn A16 defibrillator.

This disposable lithium manganese dioxide (LiMnO₂) battery has a 15V, 3000 mAh capacity and powers the AED’s automatic self-tests, standby monitoring and emergency operation.

Mediana specifies a 2-year shelf life from manufacture when stored in its original packaging and a 5-year standby life from manufacture when installed in the HeartOn A16.

Battery Life

Mediana specifies:

• Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture when stored in the original packaging

Both periods are measured from the date of manufacture and should not be added together.

Battery condition should also be monitored through the AED’s status indications and routine inspection programme.
