Mediana A16 Adult & Paediatric Electrode Pads - 2903

The Mediana A16 Adult & Paediatric Electrode Pads are genuine replacement defibrillation pads for the Mediana HeartOn A16 AED.

The same pad set can be used for both adult and paediatric patients, with the appropriate patient mode selected directly on the A16 defibrillator. This removes the need to keep separate adult and child electrode sets with the AED.

These disposable electrodes have a 30-month shelf life from the date of manufacture and feature an approximately 1.8 metre connection cable.

Adult and Paediatric Use

The Mediana HeartOn A16 uses the same electrode pads for both adult and paediatric patients.

Select the appropriate adult or child mode on the AED before treatment.

For adult patients, the electrodes are positioned in the standard anterior-lateral configuration.

For paediatric patients, Mediana specifies anterior-posterior placement, with one electrode positioned on the chest and the other on the back.

Pad Shelf Life

Mediana specifies a 30-month shelf life from the date of manufacture for reference 2903 A16 electrode pads.

The exact expiry date printed on the sealed packaging should be checked routinely as part of your AED inspection schedule.

Replace the pads after use, if the sealed packaging is damaged, or when the stated expiry date is reached.
