Fully Automatic Shock Delivery

The FRED easyport plus automatically analyses the patient’s heart rhythm to determine whether defibrillation is required.

If a shock is advised, the fully automatic AED AUTO version delivers the shock automatically. The rescuer does not need to press a shock button.

The FRED easyport plus can be switched between adult and paediatric treatment using a dedicated patient-mode button.

Importantly, the same electrodes can be used for both adults and children, removing the need to change to a separate set of paediatric electrodes.

CPR Guidance

An integrated metronome provides guidance during CPR to help the rescuer maintain the required chest-compression rhythm.

The FRED easyport plus is also compatible with the SCHILLER ARGUS LifePoint CPR feedback sensor, which can provide additional audible and visual feedback on compression depth, rate and recoil.

Battery Life

The FRED easyport plus can operate using either a primary battery or a rechargeable battery.

The primary lithium battery provides approximately 2.5 years of standby operation when installed, with a shelf life of approximately 5 years when stored under the specified conditions.

Automatic Self-Testing

The FRED easyport plus performs regular automatic self-tests to monitor its operational readiness.
