Powerheart G5 Intellisense Adult Defibrillation Pads

The Powerheart G5 Intellisense Adult Defibrillation Pads are genuine replacement electrode pads designed for use with the Powerheart G5 AED.

The pads are pre-gelled, self-adhesive and non-polarised, meaning either pad can be placed in either of the indicated adult positions. They are supplied ready for connection to the AED and have a 24-month shelf life.

Adult Patient Use

These pads are intended for patients who are:

• Older than 8 years, or
• Heavier than 25 kg

For children aged 8 years or younger or weighing 25 kg or less, use compatible Powerheart G5 paediatric defibrillation pads where available.

Non-Polarised Electrode Design

The Powerheart G5 adult pads are non-polarised, so the two electrodes are identical and can be positioned in either of the indicated adult pad locations.

This helps simplify pad placement during an emergency.

Pad Monitoring with the Powerheart G5

The Powerheart G5 can identify the type of connected defibrillation pads and monitor their expiry status as part of its AED readiness checks.

Expired or used pads should be replaced immediately, and a fresh unopened pair should always be kept with the AED.
