Paediatric Patient Use

Mindray MR63 pads are designed specifically for paediatric patients weighing 25 kg or less.

When connected to compatible Mindray devices, the defibrillator can operate using the appropriate paediatric treatment settings.

For patients weighing more than 25 kg, use the appropriate compatible adult electrode pads.

Automatic Paediatric Pad Identification

When MR63 electrodes are used with the Mindray BeneHeart D1 or BeneHeart C Series, the defibrillator can automatically recognise that paediatric pads have been connected.

This helps the device identify the intended patient category.

Automatic pad-type identification is not supported with the BeneHeart D3 or D6, so the correct patient setting must be selected manually on those devices.
