The Mindray BeneHeart C1A Semi-Automatic Defibrillator is an easy-to-use AED combining fast shock delivery with intelligent rescue guidance. Mindray's QShock™ technology enables the first shock to be delivered in less than eight seconds, while ResQNavi™ adapts its instructions according to the rescuer's progress.

The C1A automatically analyses the patient's heart rhythm and, when a shock is required, instructs the rescuer to press the shock button. Pre-connected adult/child electrode pads and a simple mode switch allow the same AED and pads to be used for both adults and children.

With IP55 protection, 1.5 metre drop resistance, long-life consumables and an 8-year warranty, the BeneHeart C1A is designed for straightforward ownership as well as emergency use.

QShock™ Fast Shock Delivery

Mindray's QShock™ technology is designed to reduce the time taken to deliver defibrillation.

The BeneHeart C1A powers on in approximately two seconds and analyses the patient's ECG in around five seconds. Pre-charging takes place simultaneously, allowing the first shock to be delivered in less than eight seconds.

ResQNavi™ Intelligent Rescue Guidance

The BeneHeart C1A uses ResQNavi™ technology to provide step-by-step rescue instructions.

The system assesses progress through the rescue and adapts its guidance accordingly. A first-time user can therefore receive more detailed instructions, while a rescuer progressing quickly through the process can receive more concise prompts.

Clear audible instructions also provide CPR guidance throughout the rescue.

Semi-Automatic Operation

The BeneHeart C1A automatically analyses the patient's heart rhythm and determines whether defibrillation is required.

If a shockable rhythm is detected, the AED charges and instructs the rescuer to press the shock button to deliver the shock.

This differs from the fully automatic BeneHeart C1A, which delivers an advised shock automatically.

Escalating Energy up to 360 J

The BeneHeart C1A uses biphasic technology with automatic compensation for patient impedance.

The standard adult defibrillation sequence provides 200 J for the first shock, 300 J for the second and up to 360 J for the third, in accordance with the device's configured treatment protocol.

Adult and Paediatric Use

The BeneHeart C1A is supplied with pre-connected adult/child electrode pads.

A simple switch changes the AED between adult and paediatric modes without requiring a separate set of child pads. The device also adjusts its CPR guidance when paediatric mode is selected.

This makes the C1A particularly practical for locations where both adults and children may be present.

Robust IP55 Design

The BeneHeart C1A has an IP55 ingress protection rating, providing protection against dust and water.
